Brandon Dyer is the big dude, pictured on the left accompanied by his Agent, Peter Medal, on right.  His grandmother, Roberta Bevins referred Brandon to us in 2002 (Jerry Bevins referred Roberta to us).  We represented Roberta on a $175,000 home purchase for just $155,000 in 1997.

Initially, Brandon was conducting home searches on the internet and getting the run around.  It seemed everytime he called on a property to get the address, someone would call back and say it was sold.  Before long, Brandon was getting inundated with Agents pestering with “new listings” or “pocket listings” or “pre-market listings”.

Brandon was a first time homebuyer and was a bit scared of the entire process.

His biggest concerns were:

In order to get a good deal, Brandon needed a tenacious and aggressive home negotiator.  His grandmother finally sat him down and said to call her agent, Peter Medal.

Brandon took full advantage of our Marketwatch program and was emailed all the new listings each and every day.   As a result Brandon new about all the new listings before other buyers or agents even knew they were for sale.

Brandon was supplied with a Homebuyers Manual.  A detailed booklet outlining the entire homebuying process.  The Manual detailed the escrow and financing process, complete with flow charts, example purchase contracts and reference material.  We wrote 8 LOW BALL offers before we found a desperate seller who accepted Brandon’s offer.

BOTTOM LINE:  Brandon got a $150,000 home for just under $140,000 NET with the seller paying the bulk of closing costs, they included ALL the appliances and made all the repairs the home inspectors found on their home inspection.
